Background/Experience:
Bob has been helping clients buy and sell small businesses since 1981 and has closed over 500 transactions to date. As manager of Business Team's San Jose office for six years, he monitored the sale of hundreds more.
He is a founding member of CABB and served four years on its Board of Directors. For over twenty years, he has chaired CABB's Legal and Forms Committee which is responsible for drafting and revising CABB's forms. He's been a presenter at a number of CABB’s annual conferences, and has earned CABB’s Certified Business Broker (CBB) designation.
A member of the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) since 1987, Bob received the coveted Lifetime CBI (Certified Business Intermediary) award in 2017. He's been qualified as an expert witness in San Francisco Superior Court. He taught "Buying and Selling an Existing Business" at West Valley College in Saratoga for seven years.
